A day at the beach ⛱️

🌊💙 A day at the beach. A lifetime of memories.

Thanks to our funding, pupils from Windrush Charlton Primary School were able to enjoy a day at the beach – and for many of them, it was an experience they’ll never forget.

For so many children, this wasn’t just a school trip. It was their very first time at the seaside. Feeling sand between their toes, paddling in the sea, building sandcastles and laughing with friends created memories that will stay with them for years to come.

Here’s what their Headteacher had to say:

*They had an amazing day! So many children have never been to the beach, that sand between their toes and a paddle in the sea has created some new core memories for these children. We honestly can’t express how much it means to us to be able to give the children these opportunities. Thank you, thank you, thank you for enabling this to happen.”

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Every child deserves the chance to learn, explore and experience the world beyond the classroom, regardless of their circumstances.
