Bringing history to life π
At M7 Education, we believe every child should have the chance to experience learning beyond the classroom.
We were proud to fund a special trip for Year 3 pupils to the Burwardsley Iron Age Centre πΊ β giving them the opportunity to bring their history learning to life.
During the visit, the children explored real Iron Age artefacts, stepped inside a traditional roundhouse, learned how flour was made, took part in archaeological excavations, and even created their own clay pots.
Some of their favourite moments included:
βI enjoyed being an archaeologist and digging up bones.β
βI enjoyed wearing an iron helmet, it was heavy.β
βI enjoyed seeing how flour was made.β
βThe best bit was making clay pots.β
Experiences like this help spark curiosity, build confidence, and make learning truly memorable. Weβre proud to support opportunities that inspire young minds. β¨
